572-HPE Persistent Memory Configuration Error - Processor X

Symptom

572-HPE Persistent Memory Configuration Error - Processor X. The ratio of RDIMM/LRDIMM to PMM capacity is 1:Y and is not in the optimal range of 1:4 to 1:16 for the current PMM configuration.

Cause

The ratio of RDIMM or LRDIMM to HPE Persistent Memory module (PMM) capacity is not optimal in the current configuration.

CAUTION:
Failure to properly handle DIMMs and HPE Persistent Memory modules can damage the memory components and the system board connector. For more information, see the handling guidelines in the troubleshooting guide for your product:
Action

Do one of the following:

  1. Install more RDIMM or LRDIMM capacity on the indicated processor so that the ratio of RDIMM or LRDIMM to PMM capacity is 1:4 or better, not exceeding 1:16.
For more information, see the server user guide for your product on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website:

For additional information, see the memory population rules on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website (https://www.hpe.com/docs/memory-population-rules).

  2. Change the goal configuration to have less volatile capacity.
