3025-HPE Persistent Memory Configuration Error

Symptom

3025-HPE Persistent Memory Configuration Error - The system is populated with incompatible Persistent Memory Module types.

Cause

HPE Persistent Memory modules of incompatible hardware levels or controller firmware versions are installed in the system.

CAUTION:
Failure to properly handle DIMMs and HPE Persistent Memory modules can damage the memory components and the system board connector. For more information, see the handling guidelines in the troubleshooting guide for your product:
Action
  1. Remove the HPE Persistent Memory modules with unsupported model types, and replace them with a supported type.
For more information, see the server maintenance and service guide for your product on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website:
  2. If the hardware levels of all HPE Persistent Memory modules in the server are the same, upgrade the HPE Persistent Memory module firmware version to the same level.

For more information, see the HPE Persistent Memory User Guide on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website (https://www.hpe.com/info/persistentmemory-docs).

This procedure might require booting with individual HPE Persistent Memory modules installed during the process.

  3. If the issue persists, open a support case using the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support Center website (https://www.hpe.com/support/hpesc).
