Checklist

Complete the checklist for setup, install, and configure your new HPE Edgeline EL8000t Converged Edge System.

  1. Unbox the system and identify the components.

  2. Verify that the intended installation site conforms to space, airflow, temperature, and power requirements.

  3. Install one or more blades in the chassis if necessary.

  4. Determine the rack depth compatibility of the system, and then install it in a rack:
  5. Prepare to configure iLO on the server blades:

    1. Set up the dedicated management network connection.

    2. Plan for network addressing using dynamic or static IP addresses.

  6. Register your system with HPE.
