Symptom

2113-iSCSI Error - Failed to acquire DHCP iSNS Server IP address.

Cause

  • Missing or improperly connected network cable

  • Incorrect configuration settings

Action
  1. Verify that the network cable is connected to this port.
  2. Verify that the DHCP server is reachable from the system.
  3. Verify that the DHCP server is configured to provide iSNS settings.
  4. Verify that the DHCP server is not busy.
  5. Reboot the server, and try again.
  6. If the issue persists, open a support case using the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support Center website (https://www.hpe.com/support/hpesc).
