M.2 enablement option

The M.2 enablement option consists of an M.2 riser and an M.2 interposer board that installs on the left DIMM baffle. When the option is installed, the server blade supports up to two M.2 SSDs.

The M.2 riser board can support both 2280 and 22110 M.2 SSD options. If the M.2 riser is not configured for the correct length of the M.2 SSDs being installed, relocate the PEM nut and rubber stoppers to the location that support the drives being installed (Relocate the PEM nut and rubber stopper).

M.2 SSD PEM nut locations
