Deploying an OS from an installation media

Procedure
  1. Verify that the OS is supported:
    http://www.hpe.com/info/ossupport
  2. Insert the installation media.
  3. Do one of the following:

    • If you are managing the server locally, access the AMI Aptio V Setup Utility by pressing Del or Esc during POST, and then set the boot option priority by selecting Boot > Boot Option Priorties.

    • If you are managing the server remotely, in the Java console window, select Media > Virtual Media Wizard, and then select the OS installation media.

  4. Deploy the OS.
