Procedure

Observe the following alerts:
CAUTION: Electrostatic discharge can damage electronic components. Be sure you are properly grounded before beginning this procedure.
CAUTION: Failure to properly handle
HPE Persistent Memory modules can damage the component and the system board connector.

Power down the
server (Power down the server).

Remove all power:
- Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
- Disconnect each power cord from the server.

Do one of the following:

Place the
server on a flat, level work surface.

Remove the access panel.

Do one of the following:

Remove the
HPE Persistent Memory module.

Install the new
HPE Persistent Memory module, and review the persistent memory configuration of the
server.

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
