Removing and replacing the iLO Service Port cable assembly

Prerequisites

Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have the following items available:

Procedure

If installed, remove the front bezel.
Power down the server.
Remove all power:
1. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
2. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
Do one of the following:
- Extend the server from the rack.
- Remove the server from the rack.
Remove the access panel.
Remove the air baffle.
Disconnect the iLO Service Port cable from system board.
Do one of the following:
- LFF
  1. Remove the LFF optical drive cage.
  2. Remove the iLO Service Port cable assembly.
- SFF
  1. Remove the SFF Front IO cage.
  2. Remove the iLO Service Port cable assembly.

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
