Removing the optical drive cage from the LFF chassis

Prerequisites

Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a T-10 Torx screwdriver available.

Procedure

If installed, remove the front bezel.
Power down the server.
Remove all power:
1. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
2. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
Do one of the following:
- Extend the server from the rack.
- Remove the server from the rack.
Remove the access panel.
Remove the air baffle.
Disconnect the iLO Service Port cable from system board.
If the optical drive is installed, disconnect the optical drive cable.
Remove the optical drive cage from the LFF chassis.
