Removing and replacing the 4LFF SAS/SATA drive backplane

Procedure

If installed, remove the bezel.
Power down the server.
Remove all power:
1. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
2. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
Do one of the following:
- Extend the server from the rack.
- Remove the server from the rack.
Remove the access panel.
Remove all installed LFF drives.
Disconnect all cables from the 4LFF drive backplane.
Remove the 4LFF drive backplane.
1. Press the latch.
2. Slide the backplane and remove it from the chassis.

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
