Errors occur after inserting a transceiver or DAC cable into an Appliance port (reserved for future use) on an HPE Synergy 4-Port Frame Link Module
HPE OneView displays an error message when a transceiver or DAC cable is inserted into an Appliance port on a 4-port frame link module in a frame with incompatible hardware.
Connection to the Appliance ports on a 4-port frame link module is not supported at this time.
Remove any DAC cables or transceivers connected to the Appliance port on the
4-port frame link module.
The Appliance ports on a 4-port frame link module is reserved for future use. Connection to these ports is not supported.
