HPE Persistent Memory module percentage remaining alerts

Symptom

An IML message is displayed.

Cause

  • An HPE Persistent Memory module (PMM) is reporting a low percentage of its specified life remaining. Block swapping will not be possible in the near future to recover from errors and data may be lost.

  • An HPE Persistent Memory module is reporting that its specified life remaining has dropped to a very low number and it must be replaced soon.

Action
  1. Review the Integrated Management Log for events related to the error, and follow any recommended actions.
  2. Back up any data stored on the persistent regions of the HPE Persistent Memory module.
  3. Replace the HPE Persistent Memory module.
