Pre-Installation Checklist

This checklist provides steps to take before installing OT Link Platform. See Install OT Link Platform from a USB Drive for further details on how to install OT Link Platform through a USB drive.
Prepare for OT Link Platform USB installation:

If you are upgrading from an older version of OT Link Platform, deactivate the license to reuse the same license with the new installation.

Format a USB flash drive with at least 8GB of storage space to FAT32.

Download and install software to create a bootable USB drive (for example, Rufus for Linux or Startup Disk Creator for Windows)

Put the OT Link Platform Installer ISO file on the USB drive. See Prepare the USB Drive.

Have an x86 or amd64 device to install OT Link Platform on. The device must have a USB port and ethernet connectivity enabled, and it should have at least 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space.

Ensure that there is enough space on the desired partition for OT Link Platform. It is recommended to have at least 8GB of storage space.

Set the correct system time in the device BIOS to prevent any license activation issues.

Connect a monitor and keyboard to the device.

Connect a mouse to non-serial devices for navigating the install GUI.
